Priced at Rs 2,000 per day, this affordable gem offers surprisingly comfortable accommodations, complete with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Mr Mishra, the owner, was instrumental in making my visit enjoyable. His recommendations for local excursions, including visits to Bhubaneswar and Konark, added to the experience. The staff was consistently helpful, ensuring every guest's needs were met promptly. Although I didn’t get the chance to explore the well-stocked library, I appreciated the serene ambiance throughout the homestay. The proximity to both the beach and local eateries means guests can indulge in authentic Oriya cuisine without straying far from home. For budget-conscious travelers seeking a taste of local culture coupled with comfort, Madhusmruti presents a financially wise option without compromising on quality.
